I think I miss “home” more at Christmas than any other time. I believe yo...Feliz Navidad mi amiga tan especial. I believe you and I are likely spending this glorious holiday similarly. No celebrations here, but I have a little Christmas light still glowing in my heart. I especially like your theory about the veil between heaven and earth being thinner at Christmas. I have always believed the veil between this world and the spirit world is thinner at Halloween, but have never thought about Christmas that way. That restaurant looks so very colorful. Funny, it seems when I love the "atmosphere" of a place, I think I convince myself I love the food too LOL. That angel...oh that glorious angel...is my favorite takeaway. May Jesus smile at you from His manger bed and remind you that He came here because He loves you very very much. And also that even though we may not be near by, we friends are just as close as this blog page, and sooner or later we will click on your link and enjoy the beautiful pictures and stories and delightful things you share with us. I always look forward to your posts, even if I am a little late in getting there. Yes, it is a busy time of year for all of us, but yet, our friends both near and far are very important to us and even though we are not close together, we can be together in our hearts! Merry Christmas my friend. Remember, Emmanuel, "God with us". We are NEVER alone!! Pamela M. I like that tree with all the puppets. Sorry your food wasn't as good as expected. Mexican food is a favorite of mine, and I just went for a Christmas lunch with my son and brother-in-law at a place up here that I've been wanting to try. It was pretty good, but nothing is better than the place we went to when I was back home for Christmas a couple weeks ago. People come from all over to enjoy their Mexican food. That wooden angel at the restaurant is so pretty. The nativity scene is colorful and special, and Santa greeting people at the door is always a wonderful sight.

Merry Christmas to you, dear Holly.
