Hippity Hoppity Hobbledy Happy Holy Week, and Some Easter Tags, Free!

Hello Bloggie Frens...

I haven't forgotten you, or my blog! Just overwhelmed and swamped, but making progress. Health, volunteer "job," finances, pets' health, hubby's health, and being stunned by the state of the world have set me back on my heels a bit.

Today a hickory hiking stick arrived. It isn't very tall, but taller than a cane. I'm afraid I am going to be a bit of a spectacle now, using the stick. But I need it in order to be able to get around better. It's more useful than a cane to me, at this point. But, I do think I look odd, most probably. Well, too bad!

But I'm hopping in to say, or maybe hobbling in to say, "Have a wonderful Holy Week!"

Mayhap someone may need some free Easter tags. So, here some are! Similar to last year's, but a bit different.

Remember, use the LINK so it prints out the right size. It's stored on Google Drive, which is safe. We think.

  1. I just popped by to see if by chance you had posted and YOU HAD. I was getting worried about you.
I don't think a hiking/walking stick will look strange. A couple of months ago I had to use one for a while. Unfortunately using it made my shoulder sore and I had to quit.
Happy Holy week to you too.

  2. I have a cane...use it often. I also have a walking stick with a "native" look to it (decorated with silver, feathers & turquoise beads).

It sure is good seeing you blogging again!! Be well my friend.

  4. Oh, I have missed you! I am so happy to see you here again! I was getting a bit concerned! And a hickory walking stick sounds wonderful! You must send us a picture! I have a walking stick that my son "whittled" for me. I use it when I go wandering about the edge of our pond, etc., or on woodsy hikes. It is very helpful and can be used to fend off unwanted critters if needed! I hope you have a pleasant and beautiful Easter. Thank you for your comment on my blog. Lily Grace sends her love to you. She hasn't been writing as much lately either, mostly because of me. I just don't have the "energy" to come up with new adventures very often, but she does like to make cameo appearances on my blog now and then. God bless you my friend, and stay well.

  6. I was also delighted to see you posted and let us know what is going on in your life. I think a walking stick sounds rather arty. Much better than a cane, I suspect.

You are SO generous with your tags you make for us. Thank you and have a blessed and holy Easter, dear Holly.

  8. The ext time I'm at the flea market and the person with walking sticks is there, I'm getting one. I have a cane in the car for those days my hip is acting up, but I don't care for it. It doesn't seem as helpful, sort of wobbly, as my walking stick I use outside. Besides, a walking stick with a carving at the top just looks more awesome. Like if anyone gives you crap, you'll thump them on the noggin. Not that I *would* do that. I think.
I hope things get a bit better for you, and the world. Thank you for the tags.

  13. Nah....me thinks you are likely to start a whole new "trend" down there in the southwest with your walking stick. People who don't actually need them will be wanting one. 🥰 The bunny tags are beautiful...thank you for your creative, generous, heart. Wishing you a blessed and joyous Easter my friend...and so glad you popped in with a post. ~Robin~

  18. Dear Holly, I've just recently begun to use a cane because of balance concerns. I'll be interested in learning from your postings the difference between a cane and a walking stick. I'm all for whatever works. May the Easter season bring blessings into your life and hope into our world. Peace.

  20. You'll look grand with your walking stick! I was just cogitating on the whole idea of getting older, and decided one of the positives is that I don't really care if I'm not part of the fashionable set. Never was! :) Just enjoy the little things and keep on truckin'! God bless!
